Does the Telemedicine Evaluation Note include a Nexus Letter?
No, the Telemedicine Evaluation Note does not include a Nexus Letter. It is an independent medical opinion that documents the presence of a diagnosed condition, such as Tinnitus or GERD, based on the veteran's self-report and the clinical evaluation conducted during the telemedicine visit.
A Nexus Letter, on the other hand, is a separate document that provides a detailed, evidence-based medical opinion linking the diagnosed condition to the veteran's military service. It typically includes references to the veteran's service and medical records, as well as relevant medical literature to support the connection.
