Does the Telemedicine Evaluation Note include a Nexus Letter?
No, the Telemedicine Evaluation Note does not include a Nexus Letter. It is an independent medical opinion that documents the presence of a diagnosed condition, such as Tinnitus or GERD, based on the veteran's self-report and the clinical evaluation conducted during the telemedicine visit.
A Nexus Letter, on the other hand, is a separate document that provides a detailed, evidence-based medical opinion linking the diagnosed condition to the veteran's military service.
